Documentation checklist

  • Is there a changelog entry (guidelines)? If you don't add one for something awesome and new (however small) — how will our customers find out? Changelogs are automatically posted to RSS feeds, the Discord, and X.
  • The change adheres to the documentation style guide.
  • If a larger change - such as adding a new page- an issue has been opened in relation to any incorrect or out of date information that this PR fixes.
  • Files which have changed name or location have been allocated redirects.

2 issues need attention before merge.

MEDIUM — Inconsistent product name in (line 61). The table above refers to the service as Browser Run, but the migration bullet uses the old name Browser Rendering. Suggestion posted.

LOW — PR body is empty (template only). Please add a brief summary describing the change and check the relevant documentation checklist items.

Verdict: Content is accurate and links are valid, but the product naming inconsistency should be fixed.

PR #30778 Review Complete

I reviewed PR #30778 and posted my feedback directly on the pull request. Here's what I found:

Labels Applied

  • Added documentation label (product:ai-search was already present).

Issues Flagged

MEDIUM — Product name inconsistency in src/content/docs/ai-search/platform/limits-pricing.mdx line 61.

  • The table in the "Previous instances" section calls the service Browser Run (and links to /browser-run/pricing/), but the new migration bullet uses Browser Rendering (the old product name). I posted an inline suggestion to change it to Browser Run for consistency.

LOW — Missing PR description.

  • The PR body is just the empty template. I flagged that the author should add a summary and check the relevant documentation checklist items. The release note entry added in this PR satisfies the changelog requirement.

Validation

  • pnpm run check — passed
  • pnpm run lint — passed
  • pnpm run format:core:check — passed

What the PR Changes

Updates documentation and release notes to announce that AI Search instances created before April 16, 2026 will be automatically migrated to managed infrastructure on June 3, 2026. It removes the "migration details are coming soon" placeholder across three docs pages and adds a detailed migration section explaining what changes to expect (Vectorize, R2, website crawling, Workers AI/AI Gateway). A corresponding release note entry was also added.
