How to filter subscription by customer id?

On dashboard can use user-email filter subscriptions, How can I filter it in python api?

As of now, Razorpay’s Subscriptions API does not support filtering by user email directly

but we can fetch it like this,

First, Get the customer using their email

all_customers = client.customer.all()

target_email = "user@example.com"
target_customer = next(
    (cust for cust in all_customers['items'] if cust['email'] == target_email),
    None
)

if not target_customer:
    print("Customer not found")
else:
    customer_id = target_customer['id']
    print("Customer ID:", customer_id)

then, fetch all subscriptions and filter by customer_id

subscriptions = client.subscription.all()

user_subscriptions = [
    sub for sub in subscriptions['items']
    if sub['customer_id'] == customer_id
]

for sub in user_subscriptions:
    print(sub['id'], sub['status'], sub['plan_id'])

This is a turn around method, but worked for me
