Error! Request Timeout

I need help using the updater. Every time I update it says "connection time out".

I've already try changing the max execution time

Have you done any updates before? Did they work without timeout?
How long does the step take before the timeout error message appears?

Are there perhaps other places like PHP-FPM that could cause a timeout?

I can update modules but cannot update the software. I have never done an update before.
It takes somewhat 2 to 4 minutes before it gives me an error.

You may need to perform manual updates.
