License mismatch betweend BSD2c and BSD3c

The project LICENSE.md states it is BSD3c, yet README and docs talk aboud BSD2c.
Could you please update all the instances to mention one of them and release a new version?

I'm not currently issuing new releases of this project. I'd accept any pull requests that update the README/docs tho.
