I went back and forth on this one. The mypy compliance argument is fair in principle, but for a module this size most of the types would be either obvious or awkward to express, the widget's options dict alone has 30 mixed-type keys, and a proper TypedDict would basically duplicate the defaults block.

django-altcha is a leaf dependency, so strict type checking wouldn't flow through to your own code much either way.

Going to pass for now, but happy to revisit if you've hit a specific case where mypy flagged something concrete. Leaving the issue open in case others have input.
