Eris (2003 UB313) #322

@PhineasFreak

Description

@PhineasFreak

Eris would be a nice addition in RSS since it is almost as large as Pluto. The much bigger perihelion/aphelion, eccentricity and inclination would also make a nice challenge for RSS grand tours!

TODO list:

  • Find a color map texture (lots of artistic license here, with current data we only know that it is very white). Temporarily using a global texture map from (The Celestia Motherlode) but the license does not allow reuse and author cannot be reached.
  • Create normal and height maps (easily done through Kittopia Tech).
  • Create a biome map.
  • Create a Kopernicus configuration file.
  • Create science definitions.
  • Create localization strings.
