You may share and adapt the material with attribution, for non-commercial purposes. If you distribute modified files, you must do so under the same license (ShareAlike). (CC BY-NC-SA never requires you to publish your changes; SA applies only if you distribute them.)

Additional Permission (CC+): GLMap Commercial Exception

In addition to the rights above, the Licensor grants extra permission to use the Licensed Material for commercial purposes, and without the ShareAlike requirement, when all of the following are true:

  1. GLMap integration. The material is used solely within software that integrates the official GLMap SDK/engine distributed by Globus.software (including iOS/Android/Flutter/React-Native bindings).

  2. Distribution scope. Distribution (if any) of modified style/icon files is as part of your GLMap-based software or for use exclusively with GLMap.

  3. Attribution. Your app and/or documentation shows credit (see “Attribution” below). No suggestion of endorsement.

  4. No trademark rights. This exception does not grant any rights in Guru Maps or Globus.software trademarks or logos.

Outside GLMap-based use, the original CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 terms apply (non-commercial + ShareAlike). For commercial use with other engines, contact licensing@globus.software.

This CC+ exception is an additional permission allowed by Creative Commons; it waives the NC and SA conditions for the specific GLMap use described above. Recipients of your GLMap-based distribution receive the same exception for GLMap use.

Attribution (TASL)

Display a credit in-app (about/attribution view) or in docs:

“Map style & icons: Guru Maps — © 2025 Globus.software.
Licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 + GLMap Commercial Exception.”

If you modify the style/icons: add “Modified from the Guru Maps style.”

(TASL = Title, Author, Source, License.)

Contributions

By contributing to this repo, you agree your contributions are licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, and the GLMap Commercial Exception applies to them as above.
