Search within selected scope sometimes does not return relevant results

Describe the bug

When using Select a Search Scope and performing a search, the system sometimes fails to return relevant results that are known to exist in the selected list. For example, searching for "1-step Workflow collection" does not reliably return the matching item even though it appears in the available records. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the search page.
2. Select a search scope.
3. Search for "1-step Workflow collection".

Expected behavior

The system should return "1-step Workflow collection" and other relevant matching records from the chosen scope.

Thank you for reporting! Looks like this was reported in the previous Testathon and not yet resolved, so closing this but raising the previous issue for volunteers again.
