Constant disk write, wearing out disks.

Hello. I have observed a weird problem.
The self-hosted corwin bot is constantly writing something to my disks, causing a big wearout. Here's the graph after I turned it off:

I'd like to note, that on this node I have 20 more servers and all of them combined don't write as much data as this bot. From htop, I can see that it is coming frob bot.js.

Hey, I was going through the open issues and noticed the “constant disk write” problem.

I’ve worked on tracking down similar performance/stability issues in production projects (excessive logging, unbounded writes, cache misuse, etc.). If you’re open to it, I’d be happy to take a closer look and see if I can help identify the root cause or propose a fix.

I cloned the repo and did a quick scan for disk / DB writes.

There are multiple .save() calls inside high-frequency event handlers, especially:

• src/events/message/messageCreate.js
• src/events/voice/voiceStateUpdate.js

On active servers this would result in constant MongoDB writes (and journaling disk I/O), which likely explains the continuous disk activity being reported.

Happy to help look into batching / throttling / caching approaches if that’s useful.
